Mrs. Sallie Davis, poses with students at LCES
as she reads, The Velveteen Rabbit. The third
grade classes have really enjoyed listening to
the story and have even helped to choose the
name, Brownie, for the stuffed animal Mrs. Davis
had made to go along with the book. Being an
educator for over 50 years, Mrs. Davis
understands the importance of reading to
students and treasures her time with them.
