Sheriff Breeden, please have your deputies enforce
the law and stop the speeding, running stop signs and
riding golf carts and 4-wheelers in the streets in the
Doublegate area before someone is killed. Those peo
ple might get ticked off at you, but Sheriff Breeden,
in the long run, people will respect you for enforcing
the law. My friend, who lives in that area, almost ran
over a child on a golf cart. Please enforce the law be
fore someone is killed or hurt.
Hey Mr. Chairman, just how much is owned the
county in past due garbage bills. Tell us the amount
and what is being done about collecting the past due
amount. Most of all, what are you doing to keep it from
happening again. Didn't the county write off thou
sands in uncollected accounts two years ago? Maybe if
the county did a better job of collecting garbage bills,
taxes would not have to be raised.
I would just like to say on behalf of the farmers.
The payment program isn't for the farmer. It's for
the consumer. It gives them access to the safest,
cheapest and most reliable food supply in the world.
Thomas Jackson, you tell it like it is. We need you on
the Lee County Commission. You definitely would not
let Holbrook manipulate you. Just say the word and we
will call every voter in the Smithville-Chokee District.
In response to the person that saw too much of Miss
Ealum, my neighbors and I have not seen her since the
election.
