pledged as State Senator he
will work to enhance dollars
for Agriculture Research
and serve as an advocate for
attracting and expanding
industry in the district.
Education will also be
a priority for Simpson. If
elected, Simpson told sup
porters that the full funding
of education dollars in the
state’s budget will be critical
to our schools, especially the
predominately rural school
districts in South Georgia.
He also wants to make Geor
gia a national leader of the
Pre-K program, again. He
wants to make Pre-K avail
able to all Georgia children.
Simpson, who was born
and raised in Bainbridge, on
the Flint River, which runs
through District 13, recog
nizes the importance of that
river and our underground
aquifer. “We all depend on
our water, especially our
farmers, and we must protect
and preserve this precious
asset,” Simpson said.
In closing, Simpson said,
“It will be a humbling expe
rience to serve the citizens
of the 13th District in the
State Senate. If elected, I
will work hard on agricul
tural, educational, water,
and tax issues to ensure that
every voice in the District is
heard. I believe that my long
background as a ‘grassroots’
Republican will help me
achieve our goals for the
District.”
