No Limitz Gymnastics Gym Team recently competed in the AAU meet
in Macon at the Gym-Nest. All team levels did an excellent job and
received very high scores, placing them with an awesome overall
score. Coaches Renee Hrachovina and Kristen Cain are excited about
the accomplishments the girls are making through hard work and
dedication to the sport. They will compete in Cobb County in their
second meet.

Special to the Ledger
Members of the united
Quad-A Swimming Team
have done some travelling
this fall to earn a series
of best times so far this
season. The first Stop for
the Quad-A group was the
Southern Crescent Aquatic
Team Fall Invitational
in Jonesboro, which was
followed up with a trip
to Jacksonville, Florida,
where the squad competed
in the Bolles School Sharks
Winter Short Course Invi
tational. At the SCAT meet
the intrepid group racked
up nearly 80 personal best
times including two new
team records which were
broken by eleven year-old.
Nicole Fye of Leesburg.
Fye, a 6th grader at Lee
County Middle. She laid
claim to the 500 yard
freestyle record and to the
200 yard backstroke team
records. Fye also led the
scoring with 143 points
over a schedule of ten
events where she put down
five personal best times. At
the Bolles meet, Fye turned
on the heat against the
frigid outdoor temperatures
and downed team records
in the 200 freestyle and the
1000 freestyle with a time
of 11:22.77 good enough
for 7th in the nation and
then in the 200 yard but
terfly event, where her time
of 2 minutes 17.15 seconds
proved to be the fastest
grabbed first place and a
meet record in the men’s 50
yard butterfly. Withers also
took a second in the men’s
100 freestyle. At the Bolles
contest leading honors
were shared by Antony
DeMott who grabbed a first
in the 10 and under boy’s
25 yard freestyle and by
Gene Lupinski who took
first place in the men’s 100
yard backstroke.
The next stop for the
Quad-A swimmers will be
the Georgia Senior State
Short Course Champion
ships at Georgia Tech, De
