I have seen it all now. Someone actually pub
lished a squawk complaining about the com
missioner's being able to claim that they have
balanced the budget and they have not raised
taxes. Someone needs to get a life. Isn't this
what we all really want? I for one am proud that
our commissioner's are able to make this claim.
Exactly what are your "hidden agendas" Mr. <5rif-
fin, Sabot, and <9ladin?
My child has been on the "standards-based"
report card for three years. She is now in 3rd
grade and for the first time has gotten a normal
report card with grades that reflect what she
knows consistently. I hate the "3,2,1" scale the
primary schools are using as testing a child one
time after a skill has just been taught is not a
true reflection of where they stand academically
(nor is testing them 5 times until they "master"
it). Thank you TOES for not "following the crowd"
and trying to make all the students look the
same!
Lee County truck 8987 tag, you don't have to
wear seat belts working for the county?
The folks at the landfill have the personality
everyone working for the county needs to have.
OK, LC fooball coach. Enough is enough. Until
you play the “best" players (white or black), you
will not have a winning team. Take a look of the
rest of the players - sad, very sad. Let your “as
sistant" coaches make some calls on who will play
and not play - why do you have them if you won’t
listen to them!
Alright I see Lee County now has funds for
road repairs and upgrades. I also see Forrester
Parkway is on the list, maybe now the Cranial
Rectitus so prevalent in the Commissioners will
dissolve and we'll get a lot more passing areas.
Lets not have a repeat of Robert B. Lee with NO
legal passing zones. Our commissioners haven't a
clue about traffic patterns I hope they get this
right.
I see Albany didn't award the airport contract
because of the minority regulation. Judging by
how long those million dollar signs are taking to
build entering Albany, the terminal should be
built in about 20 years.
