Officer out with a pos
sible drunk driver. The
Albany Police Officer
was leaving his residence
on his way to work in
his marked patrol car
when he was alerted to
a truck that was stopped
in the driveway and the
driver was slumped over
the steering wheel. The
Lee County deputy then
made contact with the
driver. He was placed
under arrest and trans
ported to the Lee County
Jail.
Darnell Martez Samp
son of Campbell Drive,
Albany, was charged
with unlicensed driver.
Deputy Alday made a
traffic stop on a vehicle
with its right rear brake
light not working. The
deputy made contact
with the driver. Sampson
was placed under arrest
and transported to the
Lee County Jail.
Jessica Renee Aired,
of Money Hill Road, Al
bany, was charged with a
bench warrant for child
support. Deputy Antonio
responded to the Lee/
Sumter County line
to meet with a Sumter
County Sheriff deputy.
The Lee County deputy
took custody of Aired
and transported her to
the Lee County Jail.
Matthew Fincher of
Hollis Ferry Court,
Leesburg, was charged
with DUI-drugs, posses
sion of drug related ob
jects, possession of mari
juana less than ounce,
and failure to maintain
lane. Deputy Meyer was
dispatched in reference
to a one vehicle wreck.
The deputy made contact
with Fincher who was
then transported to the
emergency room. Due
to his injuries he was
issued the citations at the
hospital.
Marvin Marcine Bush,
III, of Ravenwood Court,
was charged with simple
battery (family violence).
Deputy Latcham re
sponded to Ravenwood
Court in reference to a
domestic disturbance. He
was arrested and trans
ported to the Lee County
Jail.
Nancy Gay Fenwick
and Douglas Fenwick,
of Pine Summit Drive,
Leesburg, were both
charged with disorderly
conduct. Deputy Lat
cham was dispatched to
a domestic dispute. The
two were released at the
scene.

for their field trip
recently! Set in
Tifton, students
explored the
grounds at Agrirama.
Various colonial
occupations and
real-life scenarios
were experienced
as students visited
the town drug store,
blacksmith, doctor,
and gristmill, to
name a few stops.
They helped prepare
their own lunches
and dressed in
appropriate attire
to the time. The
hands-on experience
creates a greater
understanding for
students about the
struggles of daily life
in Georgia’s past.

calls the week of October
17 - October 24 and the
following arrests were
made:
Jermoske Marcell Bar-
thels, of Turnkey Circle,
was charged with proba
tion violation. Deputy
Mitchell located Barth-
els sitting down inside
a closet of a residence
where the deputy had
made contact with a
couple arguing outside.
A GCIC check showed
that he had a warrant for
probation violation for
the original offense of

Jane’Aella Rocquel
Bills, of Vanburen Lane,
Jackson Mississippi,
was charged with theft
by shoplifting. Deputy
Antonio responded to a
Ledo Road business in
reference to shoplifter.
The deputy made contact
with a store employee.
Bills was seen taking
$445 worth of merchan
dise and attempt to exit
the store. She was placed
under arrest by the store
employee and then trans
ported to the Lee County
Jail.
Jill Lynn Marshall of
Usry Road, Smithville,
was charged with deposit
account fraud. Deputy
Williamson made contact
with Marshall who was
wanted for deposit ac
count fraud out of Early
County. She was arrested
and transported to the
Lee County Jail.
Kevon Kimetrius
Felder, of Johns Drive,
Leesburg, was charged
with criminal trespass
and disorderly conduct.
Deputy Kim made
contact with Felder and
advised him that there
was a warrant for his
arrest out of Lee County.
He was placed under
arrest and transported to
the Lee County Jail.
Christopher Scott Bur-
rus, of Philema Road,
was charged with DUI
- alcohol and improper
backing. Deputy Ted
der was dispatched to
Laurel Drive in reference
to a two vehicle acci
dent. The deputy made
contact with Burrus and
could smell the odor
of alcoholic beverages
coming from his breath.
The offender refused
to give a breath test on
the alco-sensor. He was
transported to the Lee
County Jail for booking.
Timothy Neal Coley,
of Kingswood Court,
Albany, was charged
with driving under
the influence, stop
ping in roadway, and
open container. Deputy
Alday was dispatched
in reference to a report
of an Albany Police
