Trojans,
from page 1B
Leroy and O.T. Reese
as they were absolutely
dominant. KeKe had
eight tackles and O.T.
had 10 tackles, with
many of them being bone
crushing hits that the
Coffee RB may still be
feeling today.
Our secondary minus
one play had a very solid
night with T.J. Harris
collecting one intercep
tion and Aubrey’s little
brother Kermit got him
another interception as
well. The secondary
played well all night
and continue to improve
every week. KeKe Leroy
is team leader this year
with 78 tackles and live
sacks, O.T. Reese has
62 tackles (three sacks),
Aubrey Solomon 61 tack
les (seven sacks), Shaun
Rountree 58 tackles
(three sacks) Tory Carter
40 tackles (six sacks) to
lead our Trojan defense.
The interception lead
ers are T.J. Harris with
four int, Kermit Solomon
three int, Mayo and O.T.
have two each and A.J.
Jones has one. These
stats are for my old
friend Randy Smith who
asked for more details
lol. I will try to get the
season totals for offense
next week.
This week, we will
be traveling to take on
Evans High School in
Augusta, Georgia for
the first round of the
state playoffs. They are
the number 2 seed from
Region 3 with a 7-3
record. I know it is a long
trip but I hope as many
of you as possible will
make the trip to support
our Trojans.
A victory over the
Evans Knights will earn
us a trip to Atlanta in a
probable matchup with
the third ranked Mays
Raiders. We have a lot of
players banged up after a
long tough region stretch
but these boys continue
to battle every week. I
am proud to be a part of
this team. Go Trojans!
#50 Qwan Kendrick with a sack.
#2 Mark Robinson runs in for a touchdown.
