our upcoming meeting!
We are also currently

All donations will be

Seeing Rick!
Rick’s Metal Roofing in Smithville
opened in May, moving the area’s
expert on metal roofing a little closer
to the Southwest Georgia heartland.
Ricky Stewart and his employees (Ben,
Bubba, Christy, Josh, J.D., James and
Thomas) have more than 30 years of
metal roofing sales and installation
experience.
The metal roofs come with a 40-year
warranty. And unlike years ago, a metal
roof is often less expensive than a
traditional shingle one that comes with
a 30-year warranty. Metal roofs are
easier to install, explains Rick, and they
add a layer of insulation. Because your
original roof is left intact, with l-by-4s
attached and the metal sheets adhered
to them, there is a layer of air-space
that is terrific insulation. The ridge cap
along the top roofline is raised also for
ventilation. This double-roof saves on
heating and cooling costs in the long
run.
'We have brand new equipment,”
explains Rick, “and that makes a huge
difference in quality installation. When
cutting the custom-size sheets of tin
and trim, if the cut is off one-sixteenth
of an inch it can make a difference in
the finished product. The equipment,
combined with the expertise of my
team, makes my products superior to
any in the region.”
Rick’s Metal Roofing has 17 tin
colors to choose from, and 26- and
29-gauge sheets. He carries 120
different trim pieces. Rick works with
95 subcontractors and will set the
homeowner or homebuilder up with one
of their choice. Delivery is available,
and installation is generally a two-day
process.
Rick’s Metal Roofing sells most metal
building components as well as roofing.
