The purpose of this program is to recognize outstanding alumni who have maintained a high standard of excel lence and distinguished themselves through their work, personal accom plishments, or in the lives Smithville Police Chief Sammy Stone reports that the Smithville Police Department issued 100 citations, 72 warnings and made seven arrests from April 18 to May 16, 2022. During that time period, seven vehicles were towed. Smithville police worked one call in refer ence to a trailer being in the middle of the road on Highway 19.
