Lee County Sheriff’s
Office Weekly Report
Kourtland Flow-
ers-Harris, of West
Butler Road, Greenville,
South Carolina, was
charged with simple
battery / family violence.
Deputy Powell responded
to a US 19 business in
reference to a domes
tic. The deputy made
contact with the victim
who stated that she and
Flowers-Harris were in
a verbal altercation due
to her not buying a video
game for him. The victim
stated that Flowers-Har
ris snatched her dress
causing it to rip and leave
a red visable marking on
her right side of her neck.
Two witnesses said they
saw Flowers-Harris strik
ing the victim repeateldy.
Due to visible evidence,
witnesses’ and victim’s
statements, Flowers-Har
ris was arrested. He was
transported to the Lee
County Jail to be housed.
Deputy Blanton was
patrolling Philema Road
when he noticed an adult
male standing outside a
business that was closed
and the lights were off.
The deputy made contact
with Trinity McCrary
and conducted a GCIC/
NCIC check through
dispatch. The deputy was
advised that McCrary
had an active warrant out
of Decatur County for
probabtion violation. He
was taken into custody
and transported to the
Lee County Jail.
Peyton Francis Lock-
wood, of Withmere Way,
Dunwoody, was charged
with criminal attempt,
fleeing/attempting to
elude a police officer for
felony offense, obstruc
tion of officers, reckless
driving, remove or at
tempt to remove firearm,
chemical spray or baton
from person acting. Dep
uty Powell responded to
Fowler Drive in refer
ence to criminal tres
pass. The victim stated
that she heard her knob
on her front door being
jiggled and pushed.
She saw the offender
through the peep hole
and the offender stated
he was from the NRA
doing a survey. Securi
ty footage showed the
offender wearing a black
NRA collar shirt, khaki
shorts and blue shoes
approach the front door
and attempt to open the
front door twice before
ringing the doorbell and
knocking. The depu
ty made contact with
the offender as he was
speaking to an elderly
woman on Winchester
Drive. The suspect
attempted to escape the
deputy and a struggle
ensued. The offender
fled the scene on foot to
his vehicle. LT. Rouse
arrived on scene and told
the offender to get out of
the vehicle. The offender
refused and fled in his
vehicle. He was pursued
into Dougherty County.
After being stopped in
Albany he was trans
ported to the Lee County
Jail.
Glen Dale Price, Jr., of
Moultrie Road, Albany,
was charged with being
a wanted person. Dep
uty Glass responded in
reference to locating a
wanted person. The dep
uty made contact with
Price and took him into
custody. He was trans
ported to the Lee County
Jail.

road imperfections.
Motorists should be
prepared for traffic inter
ruptions and possible
travel delays. Please
slow down in the work
zones and be prepared
to stop for people and
equipment.
Work in Lee County
will cover SR 32, from
west of Pinewood Road
to west of the SR 3
bypass. There will be
vegetation removal that
should stare July 13,
should be complete in
September.
These are maintenance
service contracts. Money
for the contracts comes
from the Transportation
Funding Act (TEA) of
2015. Georgia DOT uses
the sustained annual
revenue from the TFA
to launch much-needed
routine maintenance and
capital improvements.

Food Distribution set

Lee County Parks and
Recreation is hosting a
Summer Food Distribu
tion on Thursday, July
7, 2022.

food boxes to the first
200 families.
All vehicles must en
ter and exit at Robert B.
Lee and Park Street.
