Say, Mr. Advertiser,
You Get Your Money’s Wot 1 *!
When you Advertise in The
BAHKS COUNTY JOURNAL
“Value for Value” is our motto. We give you a detailed state
ment of our subscription list. Here you see what your money
buys. If you do not get results, it is not our fault. We have the
medium. Get up an ad with the right ring to it, and we will carry
the glad news into 1726 good homes each week, to be read by
8630 people, who read The Journal. This is the average. Figure
on the cost of sending a circular letter to so many people each
week. What is the probable cost ? It will cost you nearly two
cents to mail a circular and to mail one to 1726 families would
cost you $34.42. We have a better price than that, and besides
you can not mail them for that sum.
On Friday August 22nd, 19 13, we made a careful count of
our subscription list and it showed that the list for that date num
bered 1 726. This is some list for a small town in a small county.
