Orphans' Home WorK Day. September the 20th has lieen set apart as orphans’ Home Work Day. This Work Day has proven to lie the salvation of Orphans Home work in the South. It not only brings in a good support for the orphan children but costs the individual so little that he hardly misses it, whereas before a tow had the burden to bear. The val ueofoue day's work out of dll! work days in the <• 1 is missed by none and yet when all eontr b utc the orphan children get a sup po,, and hence a square deal and a fan chance along with the other more fortunate children. I have met no one in all my ex pmience in Orphanage work who objected to p tying the \ alue of o- e day 's work and yet a great many do not even do this much; not be cause they object to the contribu lion but lieeause they do not have their attention called to it, hence iliis card in your county paper. Let all who read this not only contribute but work up an interval for the children in us eomnuuiity. It' your Sunday School Superinten dent s.-enis to be indifferent call his attention to Work Day exorcises and see that your church and Sun day School observe the day.
