Suffered Twenty-One Years
Finally Found Relief
lla\ing suffered for twenty one
years with a pain in my side. 1
finally have found relief in Dr.
Kilmer’s Swamp Root. Injections
of morphine were my only relief
for short periods of time. I be
came so sick t int 1 had to under
go a surgical operation in New
Orleans, which benefited me lor
two rears. When the same pain
came back one day I was so sick
that I gave up hopes of living. A
friend advised me to try your
Swamp Hoot and 1 at once com
menced using it. The first bottle
did me so much good that 1 pur
chased two more bottles. 1 am
now on my second b >ttle and am
leeling like anew woman. I
passed a gravel stone as large as a
big red bean and several small ones.
1 have not had the least feeling of
pain since taking your Swamp
Hoot and I feel it in> duty to ree
eommeod this great medicine to
all suffering humanity, Gratefully
yours,
MRS. JOSKPH CONSTANCY,

BanK County Citizen Cel
ebrates 75th Anniversary
That was indeed a good day the
Lord family had at the home of
Mrs. Holey Lord, near Krastus, in
Banks county last Thursday. It
was Mr. Lord's 75th anniversary,
and his children and grand cl il
dron we e there to celebrate it.
Mr. L"rd has lived in this im
mediate community all his life.
H e was born near Commerce 75
years ago. Nearly half a hundred
years ago, he purchased the farm
on which he now resides, and this
has been his home. And a real
home it has been. Here he and
his companion who i- still his stay
and comfort have re ired a family
coi sistiug of 5 sons and 7 daugh
ters all ol whom have gone out
from the home to honor it and to
be a helpful influence in the com
munities where they live. They
have entered professional life that
of the ministry, medicine and law
and others are farmers and house
keepers. There’s not abl ick sheep
in the whole family. A great din
ner, asumptous repast spread on
a long table on the yard of the
home. Practically all (liechildren
and grand children were there to
do houor to their beloved parents.
Rev. 11. 11. Hardman, a favorite of
the family was present as an in
vited guest. It was truly an en
joyable occasion to the decendent'
of the aged parents. The children
have a right to be proud of the fact
that they are the offspring of such
good parents. Mr. Lord lias been
an example in many ways. He is
an ideal citizen, a devoted Chris
tian, and a model larinor. lie has
always lived at home. He never
Inijs but on the contrary has al
ways had something to sell. He
has always been independent ol
king cotton, regardless of the price.
The News joins the many trieuds
of this couple and the members
of the family, that the parents may
yet have many years of health and
happiuess. —<Commerce News.
