barbecue near their delightful su
burban home, on Saturday last, the

being of the fortunate number.
In a beautiful < ak grove, two
hundred yards from their home, a
barbecue pit had been digged and
heated, with oak and hickory wood
and coals, over which had been bar
becued quantities ot shoat, beef and
k>d, during the morning hours, and
when the guests appeared at noon
everything wa- done to a turn and
ready lor the feast.
