Pay the Newspaper Man
Don’t get it rnt© your head to pay
the newspaper man as an act ©f char
.ity—that he has to live, and feel that
you had just a® weH help a little. A
"newspaper is just an legitimate a
business as ally on earth, and it, ie
just as necessary to the building of
the town and co'uatry in which il
exists as any other basiaess ' Far
ther than that, every mao in the
coanty gets benefit from the paper
whether he w a subscriber or not.
The editor does more for the devel
opment of the country than anv
other one mao, if be has the food of
th country a 1 , heart. Don’t figare
that he has to be an editor to make
a’living, either. The majority at
them can do ether things, too. So.
a3 you are getting benefit from the
home paper, don’t you think you
ought to subscribe for it and help
the dilor to do a good work—not
as an act ot charity, but as a matter
ot business and self-interest? If
you don’t you have another thought
coming to you, and that is it von
do not you’re an ingaate.

Those of our citizens who were

the sight of a Jglorious water spont
for about five minutes. It was a
perfect sblid column ot water con
neating the water of the bay with a
dense black cloud at least 1,000 feet
above. It was (remarked by many
observers as being the longest and
one ot the pre tiest spouts ever seen
so ntar at hand, and so far inland
from the Gulf.—Apalachicola Timei*.

Crude Turpentine Market
Bainbridge now has a market tor Crude Turpentine that
will be interesting to every one making the product for mar
ket. Seeing that a market for this enterprise was necessary
in South Georgia, I have opened a Crude market at Bainbridge,
Ga., by reason of its many advantages as a shipping point,
propose to buy crude turpentine anywhere on the G F «' 1
or the Coast Line railways, within 50 miles oi Bainbri gj
Besides, it can be shipped here trom either one of the riter-
small cost. I intend that teis market shall be second to not
or Crude Turpentine. Wilmington. N. C., has had the i r H l
ation of being the best Crude Market in the world. It ^ |
ldest but no better than Bainbridge. I quote virgin £f u _‘ n ,
ay at $5.00; old dip, $4.5o, for 280 pounds. For rar-n
nformation^write me at Bainbridge.
