Truth hurts sometimes. TERRELL IN DOOLY. Mn. Editor: Hon. Joe Terrell spent one night and one duy with Dooly, county people and made one of the plain est speeches that ever was heard lust’ Monday. He covered all the ground and bullied nobody, which is admired by everybody who heard him. He had a packed house, and told the people of Doolv what would be his duty it he was sleeted and what was not his duty. He is one man whom Georgia will be proud of and I like his politics t’ronj end to end. I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty. It the good people of Georgia should take the medicine.that is offered to them by the other fellow it will mix up politics, religion and prohibition with state affairs. In Mr. Guerry’s talk in Atlanta he saiu Terrell left the plow han dles to try and become a lawyer, but hud never succeeded in doing -so,, and that Estill was too inno cent a man to fill the office ot.gov. ern.iir. He charged Terrell with being the candidate of the South ern railroad and whisky ting. On the question of prohibition Mr. Querry said that he was a state prohibitionist; that on local dis pensary bills, if elected governor; he would veto bills in dry counties and approve them-in wet counties. The idea Mr. Terrell is not a suc cessful lawyer! I am told by some ot the best lawyers ot this state that he ranks among the very ublest to be found. It he had not been a good lawyer why did the people elect him U6 their. Attorney Gen eral ? - „ . . *» Mr. Editor, this is all told for a •lodger.
