Christirn, who is in Macon at tending a Business college, is confined to his room with the mumps. His friends trust that he will soon be up again. Col. W. V. Sheppard, who is a can didate for re-election, was here yester day shaking hands with the boys. The citizens of Vienna have been very kind to Mr.’L. Q. Nobles since his recent loss^by fire. He has received nearly 1100. in money and household things. Redding of Macon, waa here Thursday enroute home from Drayton whore he had been on a visit to A. G. Morgan who has been dangerously ill for several days. Mr. Redding was formerly a eitisen of Dooly county having moved to Macon about ten yean ago. Every farmer in Dooly county should raise enough hay to feed hts stock on until corn gathering time at least. It can be raised profitable for the market also, and with little expense. A {rest many of the farmers of Dooly county gave it a trial last year and found it to be profitable, and ake going to increase their acreage far that purpose this year.
