A pfeclous one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home ,
That can,never' be filled. (
God 'in his vvndom hns recalled • ’ • ‘
The boon ills love bail given,
And tho’ the body moulders here
The soul Is safe in heaven.
'Tis hard td break the tender cord
Where love lia« bound tho heart,
’Tis hard, so hard to speak the' words,
We must iorever.part.
Yet again we hope to meet thee.
When the day uC life is sited;
In heaven with joy to greet thee,
Where no farewell tears are shed.
Vve called you sweet and tender names,
and all the while your happy heart beat
time to tune, until the death angel came
and canted you home to Test; forever
more. We loved you In our tender wny
and did not think the time wu* so near
that we should part, never on earth to
see your smiling face again, but How
Ruby Lee, blessed little angel, wc must
part—not forever tor we too, will • soon
join that happy band of angels. '{
We miss you and are lonely without
you but still It Is sweet to know that you
have gone where you will have no more
pain for your sufferings are ended nowi
and I trust we will go where pain and
sorrow Is no more. It Is now far from *
world of strife and enjoys a heavenly
ilte where it is singing praises.
Row let us strive the prise to gain,
Let’s come to Christ with him remain,
Then wc ahull share in Jesus' love,
And meet our darling babe above.
