Cob George delivered the literary address at the commencement of the Unadilla Public school. The commencement sermon was delivered by Itev. Wooten Sunday morning. A full account of the commencement will appear, in Saturday’s issue. Several from here attended the picnio at Carlisle’s old field noar the home of A. H. Songster a few miles north-east of Vienna Saturday. Plenty of some thing good to eat and free lemonade wore on hand, and a most delightful time was had by the large crowd that waa present. We are aorry that busi ness prevented us from attending. Miss Lilia Buttles was shot down in the isle of Wesley Chapel at Ben Hill near Atlanta 8unday morning just af ter preaching by Milord Leo. beaause •ho refused to allow him to accompany her home. The young lady was about 10 years old. When shot she exclaimed '‘Oh Papal" and then died. The mur derer was captured Monday and lodged in Jail. (3) The principal office and place of business ot said corporation shall be In the town of Vienna, Dooly county, Georgia; but toe petitioners desire toe right to es tablish branch offices, factoiies, places of business, seed houses and scales at such other places as said corporation may wish (4) The capital stock of said company to be actually paid In it $40,000.00, divid ed Into shares ot $ioo.oq each, and peti tioners ask the privilege ol increasing toe same at any time lo an* amount not ex ceeding $250,000.00. Petitioners ask that the anbscriptlons to the capital stock may be paid in an* kind of property that the corporation is kmhorixed to deni in. No stockholder in said company' shall be bound in hs individual capacity (or the coutract or debt of tbe company beyond the amount of his unpaid subscription to lUrapituI stock. (3) Petitioners pray that they may be granted the- right to make all proper roles, constitutions and by-laws, and alter the same at pleasure; also that they have fbe power to elect inrn directors, officers and agents as they see fit.
