Coroner Joseph Graham of near
Unadilla, was in the eity Saturday

his race for re-election. ,
Contractor J. Q. Shipp, vyho is doing

Col. J.G. Jones, J. C. Tracy and G.
H. Tommey, three of Mr. Guorry’s
strongest supporters at Cordele, took
in the speech of Judge Turner of Macon
in behalf of Mr. Guerry at the court
house Saturday afternoon.
Col. L. L. Woodward returned home
yesterday morning from a pleasure trip
to Tampa and Jacksonville, Fla. His
brother C. C. Woodward, of Tampa and
sister Miss Carrie, who has been
spending the winter there arrived here
Monday night.
H. C. McFadden, of the A. it B., and
Mr. Cobb, of the Albany & Northern
railroads were in the city Monday af
ternoon shaking hands with our people
and soliciting business for their roads.

Dr. R. H. Pato and Ed Oribb, of Rich-
wood, were in the city yesterday morn
ing. Dr. Pate said to a crowd over at
the postoffice that about 00 voters from
that place would cast their ballots at
at this precinct, and that about 50 of
them would vote for Terrell for gover
nor.
