The case of the Mayor and Aldermen
ofPineburst, vs F. M. Barfield was
tried at Pinehurst Thursday morning
and the verdict of the court was that
Mr. Barfield should take out license for
a boarding house. The town was rep
resented by Judge U. V. Whipple of
Cordele, and Mr. Barfield by Col, M
P. Hall of this city. We did not learn
whether the case would be appealed to
the higher courts or not.
