Miss Pope’s friends are numerous in Vienna. Judge T. F. Etheridge of near Pine hurst, gave us a call yesterday, renew- newing his subscription a year and subscribing for it to be sent to his grand-daughter at Gordon, Ga. Many thanks. Still the News grows. Mr. M. E. Rushin, special agent of the Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company is writing more business among the best men than ever before. He has already written over $20,000 .life insurance this month and this is 'only the 17th. Rev. E. S. Atkinson will fill his regu lar appointment at the Baptist church tomorrow.
