visiting relatives in the county during
the holidays, returned to their home

Tax Receiver John C. Dunaway, of
Cordele, was in the city Monday in the
interest of a Tombstone 'firm which he
is now representing.
Mesdames H. B.Whitsett, of Cordele
and R. B. Solloman, of McRae, spent
Christmus in the city the guest of their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Powell.
Lewis Bryant, of Tallahassee, Fin.,
visited his father, J. J. Brynnt, of Rich-
wood lost week. Mr. Bryant is engaged
in the stable business at that place and
is doing well.

Col. D. A. R. Crum and family moved
down on their farm East of the city
limits of Co.delo Monday. Col. Crum
has engaged in the dairy and poultry
busisness and will also practice law,
having formed a partnership with Col
J. G. Jones of that city. The News
regrets to tee this excellent family
leave us, but wish them abundant suc
cess in their new home.
