Religious services nt the Baptist
church here Sunday Were largely
attended.
Prof. Nelson, our present efficient
and popular pedagog, was recently
re-elected to teach another year. We
have not learned whether he haa
accepted the tender or not.
Our little “burg" can boast of one
of the best schools In Dooly county.
Doollng can boast of two champion
pedestrians; a couple whom strolled
up to Montezuma Friday and re
turned on the same day.
Mr. Calvin K. Jenkins, Jr., is the
latest arrival at Calvin Jenkins.
Dr. W. B. Watts is now located
here permanently. The Doctor Will
answer calls from Jenkins store until
he gets a 'phone in Ills residence and
office.
.Madam rumor says that a certain
young Doollau “beaux” has about
persuaded a certain belle of Mlotia
Springs to change her abode and
assume his name. This is only
oudit.” if It happens wo will let
you know.
The road working crew is with us
or about to be with us. If they will
only remain with us ns long as they
stayed away, now, won’t our roads
be nice?
Mr. Duitcan and family, of Ogle
thorpe, visited the family of Mr.
Will Kitchen Sunday.

The entertainment at the vacant
brick store, given by the Parsonage
Aid Society on last Friday night,
was a delightful sucoess. A large
and liberal crowd was present, and u
sice snin realized for thu benefit of
ahe parsonage.
Prof. W, E. Dawson visited Cordele
on business Friday.
T. P. Woodruff was in Montezuma

Mr. Frank Holt, of Montezuma,
