Miss Amelia Wilson, R. F. D. No. 4, Alma, Ark.,
says: “1 think Cardui is the greatest medicine on earth,
for women. Before 1 began to take Cardui, I was
so weak and nervous, and had such awful dizzy
spells and a poor appetite. Now I feel as well and
as strong as 1 ever did, and can eat most anything.”

WATERMELON CUTTING.
Quite a delightful social affair of
the mid-summer season was the
watermelon cutting given by Misses
Mildred Shell and Bessie Calhoun
at the home of Miss Calhoun last
Friday evening.
Interesting games were indulged
in after which a watermelon eating
contest was put, and the prize, a big
watermelon 1 , was won by Miss Jen
kins Trippe and Mr. Edgar Morgan!
There were about twenty couples
present. 1

Our ideas on conservative banking are along the following lines: „
Do nothing to foster and encourage speculation. Give facilities only to
legitimate and prudent transactions. Distribute our loans rather than concen
trate them in a few hands. Pursue a straightforward, upright, legitimate bank
ing business. Treat our customers liberally, bearing in mind that our bank
prospers as our customers prosper. v
We invite the accounts of business men and farmers who need our co-op
eration, who understand the business advantage of STRONG BANKING CON
NECTIONS.
We want to encourage the habit of thrift among all classes of depositors!
We gladly accept the guardianship of your savings. We want to help you solve
your problems of provision.
