“Two other Georgia men, Lieut. W.
J. Crocker and Lieut Edward B. Tur
ner, are commanding companiee at
the Waco camp. They graduated at
the Georgia Military College. They
will leave eoon for France.”
Lieut. Crocker ia a eon of Mr. J. L.
Crocker of Unadilla. He was among
the flret to volunteer 'tor military
service and his record since he has
been in the service has been excep
tionally good. Although only 21 years
of age he is now performing the serv
ice of a captain in the U. S. A., having
under his command 250 privates and
seventeen officers. He is stationed at
Camp McArthur.

Southeastern Department of the Y.
M. C. A. is in receipt of an urgent re
quest from National headquarters in
New York City, asking for physical
directors for work in Russia. Five
trained, successful directors are ask
ed for, men* who can remain several
years. Twenty directors of physical
recreation are also asked for and fifty
with baseball experience for the
French army.
