RELIGIOUS AND SO ikr Monday afternoon members of the committee from the various districts in the county and a number of other, citizens gathered in the park Ufhere two prominent members of the Al bany District organization spoke im pressively of the work and its imports unco. The organization of citizens for waging’the campaign has been well perfected, the committee personnel-is an unusually strong one, being made Up of men who do things and it is ex pected that good results will obtain The campaign will be launched in earnest Monday morning, and a suc cessful finish should be reached by the' time designated for the closing of the campaign. Butler Although the consolidated returns of tho election Tuesday could not be obtained before going to press, a sur vey of the reports from the various districts justifies the announcement that Dooly stands loyally by the Pres ident and the democratic party. The vote Tuesday was practically nothing more than a confirmation of that of the primary. After a diligent search there was found perhaps two or three votes for the republican nominee for the United States Senate, Mr. Wil liams, of Dublin. All nominees were given a large plurality of votes. As SENTATION OF’SERVICE FLAG WILL CONSTITUTE SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE. The customary Sumjay evening service at the Methodist church will not be held next Sunday, this service being withdrawn to -give place to a special service that has been arranged in which the principal feature will be the presentation to the church of service flag.
