Atlanta, Feb. 20.—The old charge that the Men and Religion Forward Movement in Atlanta is mixing too much politics with its religion, was sharply revived this morning when the open charge was made againBt Marion Jackson, of the Men and Religion Executive Committee, that he had made a political trade with Chairman Carlos Mason, of the po lice board, by which the Men and Religion agrees to join with Mr. Ma son’s crowd in fighting the proposed new city charter; and Mr. Mason on his side agrees not to oust Chief of Police Beavere, who is regarded by the Men and Religion a* their pro tege.
