State Game Warden Mercer got
home from Washington he found a
letter from a prominent South Geor
gian stating that deer and turkey
were being killed in large numbers
out of season in Grady and Thomas
counties, south of the Ochlocknee
“He also stated that both were
very numerous in this restricted area
and if properly conserved would
form the basis for tine game dis
tribution all over South Geor
gia. Warden Mercer will take ■[»
