Knowing Judge Park as I do—we
were once law partners here in At
lanta—knowing with a thorough and
complete understanding the warp and
woof of the man, his wonderful per
sonality. his big brain, big heart, rug
ged honesty, his Spartan courage, bis
friends, his keen sympathy with the
lives and destinies of his people, and
his unselfish and tireless devotion to
their vital interests, I cannot conceive
a stronger, or truer representative
your district could have in Congress
to take care of your interests and
that of the great masses of the re
public.
His presence in the National As
sembly would, in my opinion, add
weight and strength to the Georgia
delegation an impress on the country,
such as Henry C. Turner once made
to the lasting glory and renown of
South Georgia. In my warm partia
lity for the man, I am profoundly im
pressed that your district has an op
portunity rarely accorded to any sec
tion to send as its representative, a
•nan of such exalted character, strong
personality and splendid ability.
I would rejoice, a* his friend, to sec
him elevated to this high station, anc’
l would with equal sincerity, as a pat
riotic Georgian, feel proud and grate
'ul to see his name enrolled in Geor
gia’s delegation to the National As
sembly.
As one who knows him as I know
myself and as one who loves him a.-
a brother, I earnestly appeal ♦o yo*
to give him your active and aggres
sive support hi this contest.”adv.
