In tliis issue of The Times-ICuterpri.se is published a letter from John <». Fuircloth, of Sylvester. This letter Is published as an adver tisement by an order of Judge Park. Lark of spare prevents the publishing also of the J. W. Roddenbery correspondence, which would have appeared on his order, but for that reason. Likewise In this issue appears a statement and some affidavits which are published at the instance of Mr. Luke, which refute in ul- most every detail the assertions of Mr. Fuirrlotli. In the interest of fairness, of justice and of right, we commend these latter statements to the people of the district in the hope that they will undo any at- a ted i iifhh- Don’t forget.to vote Wednesday. As far os the telegrams asking for the Roddenbery files before he died, the statements of the telegraph authorities in affidavit form, properly sworn to, will successfully deny that statement as also false and but another of the several nut ruths which have l»een gotten to gether in the most interesting letter of the gentleman who is work ing for Judge Park. The Times Enterprise makes these statements without the know ledge of Mr. Luke, and simply and solely in the interest of fairness and justice and truth.. We do not know the whys and wherefores of its appearance so we cannot properly clinracterize the instigator personally for its appearance. In this connection, we might add that the friends of Judge Park and Judge Covington need feel no apprehension about the appearance of any eleventh-hour attacks.
