I NEAP DEER SALOONS TO HAVE FIGHT BURGLARS GET DIG SENTENCE Atlanta, Nov. 5.—The extreme penalty of the law, twenty years in the penitentiary, was meted out to two negro burglars by Judge Ben H. Hill, of the Superior court yes terday. The men were 3am Read and Oscar Wright, and they were found guilty of holding up, assault ing and robbing Attorney Frank A. Hooper. Mr. Hooper, who is widely known because of his connection with the prosecution in the Frank case, was the principal witness against the ne groes. He told how lie was knocked .down and beaten with brass knucks by his assailants and left uncon scious. The arrests were made by city detectives as the result of find ing Mr. Hooper’s watch in n local pawn-shop.
