DEMANDS TRIAL
Atlanta, .Nov. 7.—Mrs. Mary Craw
ford has demanded of the local
courts that they delay no longer in
bringing her trial on the charge of
mi rdoring her l;te husband, the
aged Joshua 0. Crawford.
The murder char e was lodged in
a justice of the peace court, in the
: Jiane of a warrant, in connection
'1th the effort of members of the
Crawford family to fight tbo will of
Joshua Crawford, leaving the hulk of
tbo property to the handsome widow
n he married in his old age, Just
a short time before ho died.
The fight was a bitter one on both
Ides from the moment it was first
begun, and culminated In the mur
der charge.
For various reasons, including tho
fart that Solicitor Dorsey 1b disquali
fied on account of former civil con
nection with the will case, the mur
der warrant has never yet reached
the grand Jury.
Mrs. Crawford has now issued an
appeal directly to the Superior court
asserting h»»r Innocence, and demand
ing a trial or non-suit without fur
ther delay.
