messages from Roar Admiral Fletch
er, regarding the battle at Tampico,
Mexico, were made public today.
The messages stated, among other
things, that the Rebels had shut off
the city’s water supply.
Admiral Fletcher stated that the
Rebels have withdrawn from the
Immediate vicinity of Tampico. It
will he Impossible, he said, to trans
