The weather at this writing Is very pleasant, for those who do not wish to kill hogs. Rev. J. B. Alligood # of Coolldge, and Mr. A. J. Chastain and family, of Fredonla neighborhood, were the pleasant guests of Mr. J. W. Wilson and family tho latter part of last week. Mr. J. W, Wilson made a business trip to Thomasville last Monday. Mr. Charlie Jones Is on tho sick list this week. We wish for him a speedy recovery. Messrs. Wesley and Aubrey Cba- son returned home Tuesday, after spending a few days with their sis ter, Mrs. Raymond Cassels, who lives near Cairo. Mr. J. H. Thompson who has been employed by the Southern Bell Tele phone Company, Is now at tho home of his father, Mr. A. C. Thompson, and will spend the Christmas holi days with home folks. Most of the farmers of this com munity hare finished grinding cane, with the exception of Messrs. N. H. Sasser, A. M. Jones and A. C. In the midst of this confusion, two little slrls, dressed as "cuplds,” Roselyn Horne and Lou ise Glisson, entered the room, draw ing an express wagon made of pink and white chrysanthemums, and began pelting the bride with ar row! from their Oliver quivers.
