Judge Park’s letter regarding the
postofflce site In this city, Is being
discussed with much interest by the
citizens.
A reporter of Tho Tlmes-Enter-

property, and was told that the prop

posed of In the near future. They
stated that they can get a figure In
excess of $9,000 for the Broad Street
frontage alone, having refused such
an ofTer within the last few days. It
would seem this would make dlfllrult
the acquirement of the entire area
by the Government.
It Is hardly necessary to discuss
the advantages the acquisition of the
entire property by the Government
would be to the city, end it Is hoped
by many that when the Inspector,

Washington, March 4.—The Demo

today. Twelve months ago. Presi
dent Woodrow Wilson took the oath
of office, ushering Democracy into
the control of the National govern

years. At the White House, and In
the corridors of the Capitol, the
date served to recall the >work of an
unusually busy year.
The President’s friends pointed to
cbe tariff and currency lawj, and
ratification of tbe arbitration treaties
as a direct result of the close co
operation between the Executive and

Five times has the President ap
peared before Congress, delivering
messages on the tariff, currency and
Mexican affairs, the annual report
on “Sts to of the Onion,V’ and truat

Much Interest Is apparent today lu
the President's delivery of his sixth
message. This message, according
to an announcement made last night,
will be delivered tomorrow, and will
be In advocacy of the repeal of the
