Smith. The decision was given to
the public yesterday, after several
weeks of expectant watting. Little

that call, he has entered the race.
The people of Georgia have been
remarkably good to Joe Brown. He
has been honored twice with lb#
Governorship and has been accorded
courteous attention and considera
tion at all times, while performing

Meigs, Ga„ July 2.—Since the
County Commissioners saw fit last
year to appropriate a certain amount
of money to the defeat of the new
county proposition, when Meigs

trick, now that Pelham la trying for
a slice of our county and wants to
make herself the county sttef
