Mrs. Emma Briley Faucette, passed
away at an early hour this morn
ing. Mrs. Faucette had been a suN

Mrs. Faucette was Deiore her mar

married about fourteen years ago to
Mr. w. H. Faucette. She was
about forty-four years of age at the
time of her death.
She was for a number of years a
devoted member of the Baptist
church, and until III health inter-
ferred an active worker In It. She
was also a woman of strong Chris
tian character and one who attract
ed many friends to Iter by her quali
ties of mind and heart.
Besides her husvund, Mrs. Fau
cette is survived by two brothers.
Mr. Jim Briley, of this city, and
Mr. Joe Briley, of Florldn.
The funeral services will take
place tomorrow morning from the
residence and will he conducted bp
this
year, and every afternoon wagons
loaded with pickers can be seen com

the largest shipper here and buys up
much of the crop from around the
country. The pears are in unusual
ly fine condition.

by Col. John Temple Graves, who
thinks that 'Stone Mountain, near
