in Turkey, the withdrawal from
Constantinople, of the ambassadors
of the Triple Entente powers Is re
garded In diplomatic circles here as
equivalent to a signal for the begin
ning of hostilties, which the Turks
antlcpated by their naval raid in
the Black Sea.
It is reported here that Turkey
has sent out a land expedition Into
Egypt. Evidence accumulates that
Turkey Intends to proclaim a Holy
War. It Is also said that ihe Khe
dive of Egypt Intends to ask Eng
land for a definite explanation of her
uttltude toward Turkey.
