LAND SALE
GEORGIA, Thomas County:
There Is a thief in Thomasvllle,
and a mighty curious one- at 1 that.
On Saturday evening, he Paid • vis
it to the house of Charlie Bird,
flegro living out Remington avenue.
He got under the front room floor,
prtxed up a board and proceeded in.
He Immediately broke the lock of
a large wardrobe and tumbled every
thing out on tne floor. He broke In
to a trunk ‘and poured everything
out. He took down the bed and
scattered tho clothes promlscloualy.
He went Into every drawer and clos
et, Into every nook and corner of
-the house and things were thrown
all over It as if a cyclone 'lad been
suddenly admitted and as suddenly
turned out.
A gold watch, silverware, and
other valuables were not taken, but
left as they- had been thrown out.
The dining room was visited and

Owing to the Progressive ticket be
ing blank, as far as County ofllcers
were concerned, the vote for those
ofllcers was smaller than It would
