the time to save for the coming year,
to utilize those products that we have
raised in excess of needs or sales.
Miss Annie Herring has a complete
canning outfit and she has been doing
work for all, who want to keep their
surplus fruits and vegetables, only
charging actual cost for the cans and
a small price for her work. In this
way hundreds of pounds of stuff can
be saved. Miss Herring has consented
to do this work for those, who desire^
it, and will give Information relative*
thereto over the phone. It is a pity
that there are not canning stations
of this type all over the county, so
that all of the surplus could be saved.

SYNOPSIS
‘‘The Prodigal Judge” brings to the screen a character
who has long lived in fiction and has become endeared to
the hearts of fiction lovers. Eloquent at every bar,
Falstaffian in capacity of appetite and intellect, the
Judge is a man to be reckoned with. In him the
ridiculous struggles for mastery with the sublime. The
spectator laughs over him and then loves him and in the
end rises to a point of delighted -admiration for the
vagabond who still remains the high-minded, great
hearted gentleman. He is the most striking character
in a picture of many striking characters; a romance rich
in incident, hearty in humor, full-flowing in a broad
current of life and events. Love and hate and private
feud, true friendship and evil ambition, the mysterious
and unexpected, all have their place in the plot of this
great American picture. And the very core and focus of
interest is the nnforgetable, magnificent figure of the
Prodigal Judge.
It has been termed a Rembrandt of thc :
greatest picture of the year.
