Building continues in our town, near

Mr. J. R. Stringer, of Jacksonville,
Fla., and his mother-in-law, Mrs.
Groover, of Pidcock, left for their homes

days here visiting friends and relatives.
Mr. G. C. Sparks, for some time agent
of the A. C. L. railroad at this place,
left Wednesday for Glenmore, where he
goes to accept the night agency with the
same company. Mr. Sparks has many
friends here who wish him well .in his
new position and at his new home.

Tho Clisby Will.
The last will and testament of Rev. A.
W. Clisby has been probated and filed
. at the court house. Mr. William Me/
Kay, Jr., of this city is executor. The
will was drawn up on April 25th, 1903,
two days before his death.
He bequeathed all of hie property,
amounting to abont eight thousand dol
lars, to three of his neices. Mrs. Will
iam McKay, Jr., of Thomasville, inher
its a building lot between the Clisby and
White residences on Love street. Mrs.
Emnxa Brown and Mrs. Louise Kenned)
of Macon, inherit half shares in the resi
dence and lot on Love street. The re
mainder of his property is divided into
three equal parts between the three la
dies mentioned.
Rev. Clisby had several brothers and
sisters and other relatives in other states
hut none were present at the probating
of the will.

as Go. are published to elicit comment.
There can he no enforcement of the
game laws without a Game Warden,
whose duty it shall he to see to it that
the laws upon the subject are enforced.
The Second Act provides for raising
fond to pay salary of Game Wardens. I
would not favor a law of this character
hut for the fact that most of the states
in the Union have such laws, the license
ranging from f 10 to $75 for each season.
To illustrated: No citizen of Thomas
county or Georgia can hunt “any kind
of wild "game” in Florida unless he
first pays $10 in each county in which he
hunts. The third act has been request
ed by a large number of farmers in the
county as a remedy against the increas
ing number of market hunters trespass
ing upon their property where it ismot
fenced, the present law protecting only
enclosed land. I would bepleased to have
expressions from the citizens of the
