Trade between the United States and
Canada is doing finely, notwithstanding
the ugly faces that are occasionally
made by certain Canadian statesmen at
Uncle Sam. Our exports to Canada last
year were $125,000,000, says the Savan
nah Press, showing a gain of $12,000,000
as compared with the preceding twelve
months. During the same time we im
ported from Canada articles to the value
of $55,000,000. The showing is gratify
ing from the American point of view.
In proportion to population Canada is
one of our best customers.
