their organization.
The new firm wall increase the value
of the plant from *53,000 to $7,000. Ma
chinery has already been ordered and
when it arrives the company will be
prepared to do all kinds of exterior and
interior work. They will also operate
a saw-mill and dry kiln. Cairo is a busy
town and the new firm is sure to meet,
with the success which their energy and
ability deserve.
Benjamin Tindall of Meigs was ad
judged insane by a lunacy commission
Wednesday and was sentenced to the
Sanitarium, in the court of ordinary. I
Mr. Tindall is fifty-two years of age |
and had always.borne the reputation of •
being a peaceable man who was kind to.
his family. About two weeks ago tlio
first traces of mental aberration showed
themselves and he threatened to kill his
wife with a piece of iron. The attack
passed away and ho seemed in posses
sion of his normal senses until with
in the last few days. He again
became unbalanced and threatened to
make way with the entire family. His
relatives and friends could do nothing;
with him, and he was sent to Thomas-
ville for safe keeping. He is now con
fined in the county jail and will, be sent
to Milledgeville as soon as arrangements
for his admission can be made.

ty court yesterday, thirteen caeee
were disposed of and nine were acquit
ted and four found guilty.
The principal case was that against
Richmond Gore, alwhite man, charged
with distilling and selling whiskey. He
was found guilty: by a jury. He will
be sentenced today..
It is understood that Uncle Sam will
get after him when he has filled his term
or paid the fine imposed by the county.
The other cases were against negroes
for misdemeanors.
