by which the Thomasville Variety
Works assumes charge of theWhiddom
Variety Woks. The deal took effected

will commence operation at the Whid-

Bureau’s weekly summary of the crop
conditions follows: ^
More favorable temperature conditions
have prevailed in the Southern
states. Throughout the north and east
ern portions of the corn belt the
weather has been too cool for maturing,
which is in usually late. Cotton
has made rapid growth throughout the
' POitOn belt, and in portions of the
•central and western districts and East-
iorn North Carolina complaint of too
: rapid growth is quite general. Early
# cotton now is opening and a little pick-
ng has been done in South Carolina,
' Florida and Texas, the “first” bale

Hunter, J. George Dopson and Wm. J.
Dopson, all of the county of Brooks,
said state, respectfully shows:
First. That they desire for them
selves, their associates, successors and
assigns, to be created a body politic and
corporate for tile business purposes
hereinafter stated.under the name and
style of “The Dopson Lumber Compa*

corporation is to be ten thousand dollars,

facture rosin and turpentine all
other naval stores. To manufacture
and sell crossties for railroads. To erect
and operate turpentine stills. To ore-
pare and sell fuel of all kinds of wood

mills with necessary engine, boilers and
appliances. To construct, operate, prop
erly equip, remove or sell tram roads m
