Bales died Thursday of last week after an illness of only three days with congestion. The remains were carried to Irwinville for inter ment. Mr. and, Mrs. Bales have the sym pathy of everyone in this bereavement. Mr. Henry Daniel visited his parents Saturday and Sunday. Henry is at tending school at Obe. Mr. B. F. Megahee has just finished his syrup making for this , season. He and his two sons on the farm with him Frank and James, have been busy three weeks, turning out twenty one barrels of fine syrup from about 1 8-4 acres planted in cane. At the residence of the bride’s parents Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Deariso, Miss Lama DearisoandMr. Wm. A. Mims were united in marriage Wednesday after noon at a quarter past four. Only the relatives and a fewfriends were invited. The ceremony was performed by Rev. John Carlton. Mrs. Mims was admired and loved by a host of friends, and everyone who knows Will Mims^sgr^d him 1 very highly.
