NEW FIRM IN SAVANNAH. - The Old commission firm of Sloan, Stubbs Sc Stegall, of Savannah, has been dissolved, and anew firm sprung up in its stead, under the name ntid style of Sloan, Groover & Cos. This new firm is composed of gentlemen of the highest business capacity, and in every way worthy of the confidence of planters. Cot. Sloan, who heads the firm, is already well known «s the heal of the old firm. Capt. C. F. Stubbs is also well known through his connection with the old firm. Col. C. E. Groover re sides at No. J 7, or Groover Station, on the Atlantic Sc Gnlf Rail Road, in Brooks county, and is well known throughout his section as a thorough business man, scrupulously upright and prompt in all his dealings The last partner in the firm is Gol. A. T. Mclntyre of Thomasville, whose name it is unnecessary for us to mention here with encomium. He is known all over the country as a good lawyer and ’thoroughly reliable man. The firm cbuld not, perhaps, be made stronger, hbr Could any combination recommend itself higher to the people of this sec tion. For particulars read their ad vertisement in our issue to-day.
