j 11. Licenses will be given to a limited nmn
i ber of responsible parties, authorizing the
i sale bv them, of liquors ales and wines, for
which a license fee of twenty-five.dollars will
he charged. Said license to continue iu force
i for the term of three months.
Printed licenses will bo furnished ; s soon
| as praetieable, which will be required to be
i conspicuously posted in the place of business.
Applications for licenses will bo made
: through the Post conunander, to the Assistant
Adjutant General at these Head Quarters,
f No liquors will be sold or otherwise, dis
posed of to the enlisted men of the army.
Any person having received said license,
upon being convicted of keeping a disorder
: ly house will have their license revoked. •
Proprietors will be held responsible for
the conduct of their employees, and any per
son who shall be convicted of having knowmg
. ly violated any portion of the foregoing regu
lations will be fined, not less than ten, dor
