Mysterious Sign!
The W stands for tear staff of any in town,.
To sell at small profits, and put prices down.
The U for united, untiring in trade ;
United in business, united indeed.
The “ for success, which is sure in the scheme;
Silver and shinplaslers , which sustain the
machine.
The T stands for trials encountered at first,
By great opposition, which must canker & rust,
The J stands for Justice which to all men is
due;
The folksare mistaken who think its for ‘ Jew.’
The like old Browulow’s, of iron is made,
To run down high prices, and roll in the'trade.
The spokes to the centre the felloes .will hold ;
The axle’s not made yet, hu.’s just ready to’

Then T comes again, and here stands tor/rac,
To our country, ourselves, and, our patrons, to

The O only conies in to make out the show.
To direct the good people where all ought to go.
The F stands foi friendship, we'd have you all
