The day in Albany waa a complete raooem and tboss who braved the weather enjoyed it. There were nine teen companies in line. These formed two provisional regiments one ef which tree commanded by Lieut.-Col. Hop*.ins and the'oilier by .Major B L Willy. The ThoOusrills Guards was the only company in the entire Fonrt Regiment not represented. The regimental officers expressed thsir surprise and mortification, at ibis failure to appear in no uncertain termr, and the local . company is not receiving any compli m'ents from them, The rain fell all the morning, bat the parade wss held notwithstanding. Governor Terrell and a goodly number of his famous colonels reviewed tlio parade. The attendance of Thomaaville people at Military Day in Albany waa slimmer than canal.
